I joined a car club!!!

Today I forwarded my application (and payment) for membership to the Volkswagen Club of Victoria (Australia). For those that don't know, Victoria is the state I live in (in Australia). I can't wait to go to club events and have fun!!

what are the benefits of joining VWCoV?
I'm wary of any organisation that is still advertising an event that happened over Easter on it's homepage (!).
Yeah I noticed they haven't updated their webpage in a while, but they are pretty good at looking after their members and organizing cool events.
