BR-look Blog dedicated to VW Beetles

This is a quick scan of an old brazilian car magazine called Revista Quatro Rodas. In it, they tested the then new 1977 VW 1300L (Fusca/Beetle). They were impressed with the new safety features, like the new steering column, twin circuit brake system and reinforced chassis. Other new items were illuminated dash switches, wiper switch on the steering column, better seat upholstery and new speedometer design. The engine remained unchanged. Click on the image to enlarge!
